ANDRES OSORTO / HEAD COACH & ACADEMY COORDINATOR

Andres Osorto, hailing from Queens, New York, discovered his passion for soccer at the age of 5 in Franklin Square. His skills and dedication led him to become the captain of his high school varsity team, Queens High School of Teaching, where he clinched multiple championships with Garden City Park Eagles United. Continuing his journey, Andres now holds 2 National licenses and serves as a proficient coordinator/Coach at Pro Touch Soccer Academy New York. With a remarkable record of training over 300 players and leading numerous youth teams to division titles in the LIJSL league, he has also secured significant victories in both the New York State Cup and LI Cup. Eager to pursue further success, Andres sets his sights on obtaining additional licensing as a United States Soccer Coach, further advancing his career in the sport he loves.

RUBEN RODRIGUEZ / CO-DIRECTOR OF BOYS ACADEMY

Ruben Rodriguez’s true passion lies in teamwork and strategies within the world of soccer, with a coaching journey that began in 2020. He boasts impressive credentials, having led his team to become the 2017 Nassau County Class AA Champions and also achieving success with Valencia CF Academy NY as a former team member. In 2018, he added the title of Mid Atlantic Regional Champions to his list of achievements, making him a formidable presence in the coaching world.

DANIELLA FORD / HEAD COACH

Daniella Ford joins Pro Touch Soccer NY Academy with a rich soccer background, having played as a goalkeeper for Eastleigh FC in Southampton, England. Her collegiate soccer career at Farmingdale State College was marked by excellence, where she served as team captain and president of the student-athlete advisory committee. In 2016, she was named Skyline Conference Rookie of the Year, earning first-team all-conference honors throughout her collegiate career and being honored as the Skyline Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2018. In 2022, Ford coached the Sarah Lawrence Gryphons to their first conference championship, defeating Farmingdale State in a penalty shootout and making their inaugural appearance in the NCAA tournament, taking on M.I.T. in the first round. Ford’s coaching journey includes work with AndGosports Inc. and Pro Touch Soccer Academy, specializing in goalkeeping training for young players. Graduating in Sport Management from Farmingdale State in 2020, she also holds an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice from FSC (2018).

Matthew Cano, a passionate soccer player from Flushing, Queens, Bayside, and Long Island, New York, began his soccer journey at just 3 years old, and with dedication and hard work, he excelled at Jigs Soccer Club, winning several Long Island Cup matches and tournaments. As a high school varsity team member and captain at Sewanhaka High School, he became a role model for fellow players, leading them to playoffs. Matthew aims to pursue his passion further by obtaining his National License and is excited to share his expertise gained from three years with Pro Touch.

HELEN SABALLOS / COACH

Helen Saballos is a passionate trainer who wants to share her love and passion for the game with as many people as she can. She became the Varsity Soccer Coach at Pro Touch Soccer Academy and held the position for 7 years. Developing coaching skills under mentorship from the CEO and subsequently becoming the Director of the Female Program, Helen earned two National coaching licenses. She has also guided multiple teams to the Long Island Cup finals and achieved victories in the Long Island Junior Divisions. Helen is pursuing additional coaching licenses to further advance her career.

FERNANDO ALVAREZ / COACH

Fernando Alvarez’s soccer journey began at Valley Stream Soccer Club, then NY HOTA and Garden City Soccer Club. He returned to NY HOTA, winning the National Premier League and joined Pro Touch at 17. In August 2022, he started coaching, leading POB Ravens and W/S Sharks. POB Ravens advanced a division and reached the LI Cup quarters. W/S Sharks secured 2nd place in the 3rd division in spring 2023. He also coaches at Real Madrid and Pro Touch soccer camps, spanning various age groups.
